Check in time is 1 pm

Check out time is 11 am. Late check-out ,if required, is dependent on further booking of the room. Till 12.00 pm no charges apply. From 12.00 pm to 6 pm 50% of room tariff would apply post 6 pm , full room tariff would apply as per policy.

Since this is a homestay, we do not offer room service.

Children above 5 years are billed as per extra person charges

Just like you do at home, please notify the staff of your lunch/dinner plan 2 hours in advance since everything is made fresh here too!

The meal timings are as follows: Breakfast:8 to 10 am Lunch: 1to 2.30 pm Dinner: 8-10 pm.
Last order : 6.30 pm. You are requested to adhere to the timings to help us serve you better.
 

If you decide to go on a trek, do consider taking a guide along for your own safety. Also, if it is raining, treks are not advisable.
 

Outside food, cooking equipment, kettles ,heaters etc., are strictly not allowed at The Forest Edge. Kindly cooperate.

When there is no electricity , we provide buckets of hot water to guests.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and common sitting areas.
 

We do not allow loud music or noise in guest rooms .
 

In winters ,room heating is done through Bukhari and electric blankets .Wood for Bukhari and electric blankets are available on chargeable basis.
 

It is our endeavour to keep the valley clean so you are requested to not leave any plastic or wrappers behind.Sanitary napkins should directly make there way directly into sanitary napkin incinerator placed near common washroom.
